Jayapak at ALLPack 2026 Jakarta

ALLPack Indonesia 2026 ran for four days, 20–23 October, at JIExpo Kemayoran. We were at Hall A1, Booth AR33, with Silverson high-shear mixers and STV Machine equipment. Many of our invited customers came to discuss their upcoming projects, and we also met new customers with unique products and challenging requirements.
Here are the machines and moments that stood out:
Vacuum Mixing Homogenizer: smooth texture, fewer bubbles

The Vacuum Mixing Homogenizer (VMH-100) gave visitors a vacuum option for Silverson high-shear mixing. It was built for creams and semi-solids, where texture matters and trapped air (bubbles) is a problem.
Air gets whipped into a cream during mixing, and the bubbles can affect how the product looks, feels, and holds together, and can waste space in a small tube. Mixing under vacuum helps remove that air while the Silverson rotor/stator head works the product to a smooth, even texture. For manufacturers of creams, ointments, and similar products, this puts both steps in one machine.
Mixing under vacuum helps remove trapped air while the high shear head builds the texture.
Suppository line: one machine from roll to cut

The STV SFL-3 suppository line drew some of the longest conversations at the booth. It combines the whole process in one machine: forming from a roll, filling, cooling, sealing and cutting.
In many setups, filling and cooling are done on separate machines, and many manufacturers buy preformed packaging and then feed it into a filling machine. A complete line from roll to finished suppository means fewer machines, fewer handovers between steps, and one process to control. Visitors asked about this more than anything else on the booth.
Live trial: Silverson L5M-A

By appointment, a manufacturer in Indonesia brought its own materials to the booth and mixed them with water on the Silverson L5M-A to make a liquid suspension.
Two things stood out. The mixing time was significantly shorter than what they were used to, and they did not need heat. The texture and consistency also exceeded their expectations.
For a lab mixer, that is the point of a trial: the customer sees the result with their own materials before deciding anything.
CombiLab 5 and the powder under the plate

Several visitors came to see the CombiLab 5 and the cyclonic airflow up close. A pattern came up in many of these conversations. Visitors who run their own fluid bed dryers told us they had found a worrying amount of waste powder trapped between the perforated plate and the wire mesh of their conventional machines.
The CombiLab 5 uses a different airflow design, so this problem does not arise in the first place. We wrote about the cause in more detail here: Why powder gets trapped under a fluid bed dryer’s plate.
Strip packer SP-320: many steps in one pass

The STV SP-320 high-speed automatic strip packaging machine was also on the booth. It packs tablets and capsules between layers of aluminium laminate foil, which is the format many pharmaceutical products use. If you are weighing strip packs against blisters, we compared them in an earlier article: Strip vs blister packaging: which one actually fits your product.
What visitors noticed was how much the machine does in one pass. It handles automatic feeding, debris removal, filling, high-speed heat-sealing, perforation, batch number printing, cutting, defective sorting, counting, and waste disposal, and then delivers the finished strips. That means fewer manual steps, fewer people handling the product, and a defect check built into the machine instead of a separate station.
The machine is also built to run several lanes at once, so many tablets are sealed in each pass. Speed depends on the tablet size and the film width, so we always discuss it against the customer’s own product.
What we took away
Four days of conversations gave us a few lessons.
Customers want to see the result, not just the machine. The L5M-A trial and the CombiLab 5 airflow demonstration drew the most interest because visitors could see the effect for themselves.
Combined functions matter. The suppository line and the vacuum homogenizer both attracted attention because they replace several steps or machines with one.
New customers bring new challenges. Several visitors brought products and processes we had not seen before. That pushes us and our machines to improve, and we are grateful for it.

Thank you to everyone who visited the booth, to our principals and partners, and to the ALLPack Indonesia organisers.
Bring your own materials for a trial
If you missed us at the show, you can still arrange a trial. Bring your own materials and we can test them on the Silverson L5M-A, the Vacuum Mixing Homogenizer or the CombiLab 5.
